Here is a cool gold toner that I still love to look at. Mark Goodman remains the best coin photographer in my opinion. Credit goes to him on this picture.
Thanks for the compliment. I think the grades above MS-66 have a lot to do with luster. You can see the differences in the luster of the three MS-67 cents. Surface-wise they are all great strikes with only one minor bag mark.

Gotta be one of the most beautiful 1851-D $2.5 I've ever seen.... green gold toning is amazing!

A bit fond of this early Dollar. 😊
One of my favorite CAC double eagles. This was the only $20 I have that I bought stickered. The other two got stickered when I sent them in :)
MS-63 CAC.
A proof-like Columbian half with a CAC sticker.
Here are examples of different grade levels (A, B, C), IMHO. I would say this is a typical "A" level MS-67
I would say this is a typical "B" level MS-67
Here's a "C" level MS-67 that was rejected by CAC
Latest purchase.

Those photos are awesome. Thank you for showing the 3 levels. I have often wondered how these 3 levels co-exist within the same grade.
