Interesting Pattern

Here’s a new purchase that I thought had a very neat pattern on it. It might bother some collectors but not me. It adds to the history of this coin. Has a line of stars going across the reverse. Was this done purposely or was it just resting on currency. How did the stars get there? Definitely adds character to the coin and I like it. Tell me what your thoughts are. Do you like it or not and what do you think caused it.

Wow! I don’t think I’ve ever seen something like that before. Certainly not on a seated dollar. Maybe like you said she spent a couple decades on some currency. Or maybe a newspaper or something like that. Regardless of how it got there. The coin is very cool!

Yes I totally agree I wouldn’t want it on a choice au. On a mid grade circ it doesn’t bother me.
