  • Geez, another big boy coin. Well done. Just beautiful!
  • That is gorgeous . @Rattlers

  • it is interesting to see the differences from the tv image(s) of the same coin i would love to see it in hand to better understand the image correctness i am learning more here for sure thank you so much for posting it!
Yes, all a matter of the angling of the light.  @robec1347 ‘s photos above brought out more of the red hues, activated by how his lights hit the coin, which can be seen in hand depending on how you tilt it.  Here are all three next to each other, my own are at the bottom.

Seriously, why is there no Love or Like button. I’m drooling while gazing at these incredible bit of history. I don’t mean to slight any coin in this thread, all are welcome in my set any time, but the @FloridaFacelifter blue 1795 FH Dollar has got to be my favorite coin anywhere. Holy mackerel!!
I have thought the same thing many times.
There are many posts I’d like to love and love to like.
Yours is one of them. That half cent is AMAZING!!
  • Mr. Florida Facelifter has a lot of really nice coins. His collection must be amazing. His 1922 sand blast proof Peace Dollar is one of my faves.
