Need an opinion on this 39-s Walker

Guys, and JA if you are listening, I got this on the GC auction last night. Concerned this might be dip residue that has continued to darken in the holder, as opposed to good old fashioned original toning from a roll, or paper/cellophane. Appreciate honest opinions:

  • It doesn't look dipped to me, particularly in the slab-shots.

    Thanks Mark, appreciate the feedback.

    +1
  • Thats a nice looking Walker.   The toning is , i won’t say odd so let me say unique .

  • Did you see that the same coin sold on GC Oct 2020 for abt $5900 and then Mar 2022 for about $4800? I think pcgs actually really likes that kind of toning, esp combined with booming luster. See the 44-p Heritage has for example.
