I figured it out. The coins needed me to put in the specific Overton variety when adding the coin into My Collection. It’s strange since the Overton number wasn’t listed on the PCGS label to begin with, nor were some of these minor varieties, but ra…

Impressive set, and great eye appeal! Be careful as it’s a slippery slope. Before you know it, you’ll be putting together a Redbook set, and then… going after the big enchilada….the Overton set!!

Two Indian cents received pluses, as did two high grade coins:
1. 1866 Two Cent MS66RD got a plus;
2. 1918 Standing Lib Quarter MS66FH also got a plus.

Congrats, Steve! Do you have any images of the four coins that received pluses? I am alw…
This may not be the right thread to post this, but these are questions I have been wondering about since the announcement of the new CAC grading company was made....

I have at least a dozen, if not more, green beaned coins tha…
Personally, I have had numerous coins with CAC stickers regraded, albeit, in their same holders, since I don’t crack out coins.
For those that come back in the same grade (with a new cert #), I always send them back to CAC with a color pic of the f…
I won this coin from a 2010 HA auction in the holder below. It upgraded a couple of years later on a regrade to 63. Then a few years went by before I brought it to CAC as a walkthrough where it earned the gold sticker. JA came out and introduced him…
Here is a tough CAC bust half I traded awhile back with a friend that has adjustment marks on the upper left reverse field. I personally don’t think they took away from the coin.
Since it happens to be my coin, I think it would probably grade 64+/65. I’m sorry I can’t pick just one grade. As for how I would price it IF I were to sell it outright, I’d probably pick a number between $8-10K. However, we’ve all heard some people…
I found another coin I bought on the condition that it stickered first. And I’m really glad it did. Believe it or not, the true view is an accurate representation of how it looks in hand.
