That is a great question. Unfortunately, I cannot give an answer at the moment as I do not have one. But, it is something I'm sure we want to provide at a future date. We still have a good amount of growing to do in the mean time.
Just a followup on the image format issue. We have it resolved and all files should be saved as jpeg files from both the submitter portal as well as the cert lookup page. If anyone is having issues, please let me know.
I am impressed, and even though it is an image, and I never make a wag of an image, This one has such a 3D original skin quality and the luster jumps off the page, that I would not be shy stating it is the bestest one I have seen. It is almost like …

Currently the dark background and square cropped obverse and reverse images are available only on the submitters portal along with what is found on the cert verification page. The cert verification page only hosts the slab shots and the light backg…
There are quite a few around the office who get very excited about these...
It's amazing how small those are these days. I remember when I was a kid a 5 cent one was huge compared to what ya get these days for 50c or a buck!
Yeah, you can't e…
@Bushmaster, I am looking into this. I've noticed that on the collectors portal, the images are served as webp. On the coin lookup page the images are served in jpeg format. Once I get an answer, I will let you know.
My sense is your assumption is correct, since I believe the Legacy designation is given ONLY to coins stickered by CAC by 6/5/2023.
Steve
I hadn't read about that. Let's say someone buys a coin from a show, ebay, auction, etc that received the s…
Here is an animated GIF I did back in 2016. As @messydesk mentioned, the problem is the time it takes to produce. While it would be amazing for a TPG to produce these, it's just not practical.
That's very cool! How about give this as an added s…

One thing that I have not seen anybody mention... The clear rims of the CAC holders allow you to read the date, denomination and grade through the plastic. You don't have to dig through a box and pull each coin out to find a specific coin you are l…
Here is one I picked up at a local show. It did not bean and I did not get an explanation as to why. I still love the look of it and will keep it in my collection.
@jtlee321, congratulations Justin! The photo department will be in good hands with you in the room. Look forward to seeing more of your work.
Thank you Bob! I really appreciate your support.
@jtlee321 congratulations, Justin. I came across your site in the past and was really impressed/inspired. Tried to find you on Instagram, but wasn't confident I found the right account. This sounds like a dream job for you. I'm definitely envious.

@WilliamJ, @Zoins, @MarkFeld Thank you very much! I feel very fortunate to be given the opportunity I have. It's a big undertaking moving my family across the country, but one that I feel is very much worth it. They are just as excited as I am re…
@Seatedman Thank you! It’s a real dream job. I feel very fortunate to be part of this amazing team.
Sorry I can’t answer your question regarding photographing older holders, as I don’t have an answer for you at this time. Sorry to be vague, but …
@CAC_Team It is busy, but it’s a good kind of busy! The team down here is phenomenal, a real numismatic Dream Team. I can’t wait to see this incredible machine that we are building down here start to fire up!
Hello everyone! I have not posted in here for a while, I've been very busy lately (for a GREAT reason). I wanted to let you know, that I was brought on board by @CAC_Ops at CAC Grading to setup and run the imaging department. While I can't get in…
Will you be ready to accept the GSA holders at start? Are you going to have a sticker seal that goes around the holder like what NGC is doing now? I have ike proofs in GSA holders i want left in the holders.
I would like to add to this question. …
This is so exciting!! I feel like I time traveled to 1986 and was about to submit to PCGS with the current knowledge I have regarding PCGS. CACG I believe will be the first TPG to be considered mainstream since NGC came about in 1987. I just can'…
What's gonna be the hot item from the CACG ?
The "NGH" New Green Holder. With a lot of the older holders being picked over, I see the New Green Holder getting very popular.
